Scientia Ex Machina ("SXM", "we", "us") provides automated evaluation and certification services for AI skills and agents. Our certifications, including Standard and Hardened tiers, are informational assessments based on automated testing at a single point in time.
SXM certification is not a guarantee of safety, security, or fitness for purpose. Our evaluations form one component of a broader AI governance framework. Certification indicates that a skill passed our automated test battery at the time of evaluation. It does not guarantee:
Skill developers and users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, security assessments, and compliance reviews appropriate to their use case.
The SXM Hardened tier provides adversarial red-team testing against known attack patterns. A passing score indicates resistance to the specific test vectors in our battery at the time of evaluation. New attack techniques emerge regularly, and a Hardened certification does not guarantee resistance to future or undiscovered attack methods.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SXM and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Our Security Advisories describe anonymised vulnerability patterns. They are published for educational purposes and do not constitute security advice for any specific deployment. Implementing remediation steps is the responsibility of the skill developer.
Payments for SXM Hardened certification are processed via Stripe. Certification results are delivered automatically upon completion. Refunds are available if the evaluation fails to complete due to a system error on our side. Refunds are not available for skills that fail certification.
Skills submitted for evaluation remain the intellectual property of their developers. We do not claim ownership of submitted skills or their source code. Evaluation results and reports are licensed to the purchaser for their own use.
